hemp Houses WA
Hempcrete is a bio-composite material – a mixture of hemp hurd (the woody core of the plant), a natural lime binder and water. When these materials are combined together the chemical reaction forms a solid bond that is strong, insulated and fireproof, making Hempcrete the ideal building material for a healthy and sustainable home.
Hemp is truly the building material of the future, with Hemp Houses WA being the solution to many of the building industries issues of toxic, in-efficient and mouldy homes. Hemp Houses WA are starting to gain traction as more information is being spread of the benefits of hempcrete and more Hemp Homes are being built.

Living Off The Grid
Living off the grid is an ancient practice which has keep us connected to nature for centuries. As technology has improved we have adapted to grid connected power, water, gas and sewerage as living in large populated areas has pushed us to be as efficient as possible. This is by no means a bad thing but it has meant that we have become disconnected to where and how we source our resources and dispose of the waste we generate.
As our population grows and our resources decrease, we at New Earth are conscious about taking control of sourcing, quality and the management of our resources and waste. When Living off the Grid we need to implement sustainable systems that harvests, stores and manages our resources.

Earth’s ecosystems have evolved for millions of years, resulting in diverse and complex biological communities living in harmony with nature. Having a sense of community is a basic psychological need, essential for our happiness and through evolution crucial for our survival.
In nature everything is connected, even plants and animals share sense of community.
Being part of a community is good for your mental health. It provides a source of fun, support, new experiences, networking opportunities, inspiration and motivation.
New Earth is proud to be working with community members, businesses, councils, not-for-profits and other organisations including Youth groups, Disabilities and Homeless. We share a focus on;

Come join the New Earth team in raising awareness of some of the social and environmental issues which are facing our communities today!
We have a growing rate of people who are experiencing homelessness every day in WA, with 9000 people being homeless every night and a further 7000 sleeping rough or on the verge of homelessness.
Our vision is to partner with aligned organisations and companies to work together and provide tiny homes for the homeless. We are working with ‘Just Homes’ in Margaret River to establish housing solutions for the many people who are experiencing forms of homelessness or sleeping rough in the local area.
With your assistance we can help provide tiny homes for the homeless and reach our goals of having a quick response service for people experiencing homelessness and being able to provide them with a safe secure place to stay.
The Building Industry generates a high amount of waste, through materials being slightly damaged, homes being built, renovated and demolished, displays being updated with new trends and excess materials when over ordering. Land fill is rising and recycling / up cycling can not only provide a sustainable solution around the waste consumption of our industry, it can help house and support the many varieties of people who are exposed to sleeping rough and experiencing homelessness.
